DMCA Policy

Find Famous Designer is committed to respecting the intellectual property rights of others. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable copyright laws. Our goal is to provide a platform that honors original creations, especially within the world of interior design, professional photography, and architectural concepts we feature.

This policy outlines the procedures for copyright holders to request the removal of infringing content and for users to submit counter-notifications if they believe material was removed in error. We encourage all users to understand their rights and responsibilities regarding copyrighted material.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied and posted on Find Famous Designer in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, you may send a DMCA takedown notice to our Designated Agent. Your notice must include all of the following information to be valid.

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works at that site.
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material. Please provide specific URLs.
  • Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and an email address.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Counter-Notification Process

If you believe content you posted was removed due to a mistake or misidentification, you have the right to submit a counter-notification. This allows you to dispute the copyright claim and potentially have the material restored.

To submit a valid counter-notification, it must include all of the following elements:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and an email address.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which Find Famous Designer may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person.

We will typically restore the removed content within 10 to 14 business days unless the copyright owner files a court action seeking a court order to restrain the user from engaging in infringing activity.

Repeat Infringer Policy

Find Famous Designer respects the intellectual property rights of others and enforces a strict policy against repeat infringers. Users who are identified by Find Famous Designer as repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated. We reserve the right to remove any content without prior notice if we believe it infringes upon copyright, whether or not we receive a formal DMCA notice.
